mcpstatus.io provides tools for configuring monitors collecting technical signals and publishing status information related to Model Context Protocol environments. The Service is offered strictly on a best effort basis and for informational purposes only.
mcpstatus.io does not guarantee the availability accuracy completeness reliability or timeliness of any monitoring data status outputs or alerts. The Service does not replace your own security practices observability tooling operational controls or incident response processes.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least eighteen years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree that you will not:
- Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law or regulation
- Probe or attack infrastructure you are not authorized to monitor
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
- Use the Service to transmit malicious code or disrupt other users
- Misrepresent monitored systems in a fraudulent or misleading way
4. Your Data and Security Responsibility
In the course of using the Service you may provide configuration data endpoints credentials tokens workspace information and status content including metrics and incident descriptions.
You retain full ownership of your data. You grant mcpstatus.io a limited license to process and display such data solely to provide the Service.
You are solely responsible for securing your credentials tokens and systems. You agree that you will not submit sensitive secrets production passwords or privileged access credentials unless you fully accept the associated risks.
The Service may apply encryption at rest for certain sensitive fields using managed key services. Such measures are provided as a security enhancement and do not change your responsibility to properly scope rotate and protect your credentials.
mcpstatus.io shall not be responsible or liable for any security breach credential exposure data loss unauthorized access misuse compromise or incident resulting from your configuration choices or use of the Service.
You acknowledge that the Service operates under a shared responsibility model and should not be treated as a trusted execution environment or secure credential storage solution.
5. Public Status Pages
The Service allows you to publish status information that may be publicly accessible. Any information you designate as public may be viewed shared or indexed by third parties.
You are solely responsible for the content claims representations and commitments made on your public pages. mcpstatus.io does not verify validate or endorse any uptime statements or service guarantees.
6. Third Party Services
The Service may integrate with third party tools APIs model providers or platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. mcpstatus.io is not responsible for third party outages changes or data processing.
7. Subscription and Payments
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Prices billing cycles and plan details are displayed in the Service.
Fees are non refundable except where required by law.

All software design content and materials related to mcpstatus.io are owned by the operator or its licensors and protected by law.

If liability is imposed total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Security and Monitoring Risk
Monitoring inherently involves technical network and security risks. The Service interacts with systems you configure.
You are solely responsible for your infrastructure credentials access controls and exposure. Any breach compromise misuse or incident remains your responsibility.
mcpstatus.io assumes no liability for breaches intrusions abuse data exposure or system compromise.
14. No Service Level Agreement and No Guarantee
The Service is provided without any service level agreement uptime commitment or performance guarantee.
The Service may not be relied upon as a sole source for business operational security or compliance decisions.
15. Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify defend and hold harmless mcpstatus.io its operators and employees from any claims damages losses liabilities and expenses arising from:
- Your use or misuse of the Service
- Your monitoring configuration and public pages
- Your data and published content
- Any security incident breach or credential exposure
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law
16. Force Majeure
mcpstatus.io shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control including disasters war network failures power outages or third party service failures.
